Why should I use Maison Oslo’s organization services?
Maison Oslo specializes in creating fully customized solutions for our customers. A personalized discussion with our customer allows us to tailor a solution that fits your immediate, long term and budgetary needs. We are a turn-key service; organizing, purchasing organizational solutions, implementing solutions, donating your unwanted items and leaving you with a solution that functions for your busy and ever-changing lifestyle.
Who is Maison Oslo’s organization services tailored to?
Our typical client doesn't want to spend their weekends cleaning or organizing. They struggle to find a foundation for organization in their home or space and just need someone to come in and do it for them. Many have us come back and refresh the space regularly.
The consensus is that clients may feel overwhelmed by their "stuff" and need help finding a system they can maintain and be proud of. It can be a very emotional and private journey, one that we will treat with understanding.
Our ideal customer is looking for form and function but also wants the space to feel beautiful.

Do you supply the storage solutions?
Absolutely. My services always start with a FREE consultation. This helps me assess the space and understand which of our storage solution options would work best for your budget. We come prepared and adjust as we work through the space.
What can I expect?
Step 1 - A free consultation to assess your project. Depending on the size of your project, this consultation may be in person to allow for measurements and photos to be taken. Face-to-face video conference calls may be easier for some clients. From there, we send a quote for your approval.
You can expect an honest, professional and un-sugar-coated opinion of what needs to be done.
Step 2 - we'll schedule a date and time that works best for you.
Step 3 - The organizing begins. We like to warn our clients that it will get messy before it looks beautiful.
Generally, our projects take a minimum of 4 hours. Larger projects may be split over 2 days.
Bonus: You do not need to be present while we work. We'll text you as we get close to completing it. We'll want to take 20 minutes of your time to walk you through all of the great space-saving solutions we implemented. If you stay, we ask that you avoid interruptions to keep us on schedule and avoid supplemental hours being charged.
We are very much aware that we are coming into your home and personal space. Please know that there are no judgements, we are here to help. This is a safe place for you to share your challenges and for us to get to know each other. Personalizing the visit makes our work easier. We want to know our clients and their day-to-day utilization of the spaces we are working on so we can propose the best solutions.
What type of storage solutions do you use? Are they green products?
We prefer glass and natural fibres over plastic. When budgets don’t lend to the more natural products, we use BPA and non-toxic plastics purchased from reputable shops.
Are you insured?
Yes.
What regions do you service?
All in-person services are currently isolated to the Greater Montreal Area and Estrie. We travel regionally to accommodate our clients..
Do you provide free advice?
I do! Our first consultation to discuss your project will always be FREE. During this call, we can address any of your questions or concerns before we isolate which of my services is best for you. Some basic advice may be free during this discussion.
Do you partner with realtors or commercial properties?
Absolutely!
Agents can hire MAISON OSLO to soft-stage spaces to help create a vision for potential buyers.
Agents can also refer their clients (buyers or sellers) directly to MAISON OSLO to help declutter and set the stage for a better client viewing or sale of their home.
What are your rates?
We generally work at an hourly rate. Our quote will tell you the cost of both our time and any storage solutions that we integrate. All storage solutions are at cost + a small margin. Either way, there are no surprises. We’ll work with your budget pre-defined in the quote and only make slight adjustments that you agree on.
Note: a minimum of 4 hours is required to work with us. Our hourly rate is $65/hour (CAD)*.
*This does not include storage solutions, which will be additional. We, of course, try and use your existing items before buying.
